If you've run into the issue where you go to shift your truck into gear and hear a distinctive snap, followed by an abrupt click, and find yourself unable to shift back into gear, we have the solution for you! Normally, you'd have to find a way to replace your Automatic Transmission Control, or make do. After a bit of trial and error, we've created something that you're going to love. This tiny ball here is the source of your shifting woes, and we're happy to alleviate them for you.

Note: The shifter may require a few iterations to print, due to wear from the factory stock part. After a few iterations, you'll be able to size it exactly to your needs.

Recommendation: We HIGHLY recommend the use of carbon fiber PLA or other durable PLA material. Flexible PLA hasn't been tested, though it could prove to be viable in practical applications. A secure and sturdy bonding agent could assist in prolonging the use of this aftermarket part.

Best practice in reference to this repair would be to print a few of these after getting the right iteration down for your model and keep them in the truck in case of the need for replacements. We've tested the component and it's passed the drivability and shifting tests. If you want your truck fixed up PDQ and have a few hours, highly recommend giving this repair a shot as opposed to paying $150- $285 (not including labor) for the repair.
