Design Concept

This model presents a charming Christmas ornament consisting of a hollow spherical shell that houses a festive sleigh filled with colorful gift boxes. The sleigh features a classic red design with decorative white patterns, while the presents add a joyful splash of red, green, and gold. The small perforations around the sphere allow warm holiday light to shine through, creating a magical, cozy Christmas atmosphere.

Print Settings (Hi Combo)

Hi Combo printer; approx. 3–6h print time depending on scale; 0.16 mm layer height; 10–20% infill; PLA material.

Sphere prints smoothly with minimal supports; supports are recommended only under the bottom platform if needed.

Use 3–4 walls to improve strength and stability when hanging.

Slow perimeter speed enhances smoothness of the sphere and maintains crisp details on the sleigh and presents.

Z-seam aligned to the back of the ornament for a cleaner viewing angle from the front.

Optional: print the sleigh and gift boxes separately using red, green, gold, and wood-colored filament for a more vibrant finish.

Assembly

If printed separately (sphere + sleigh), glue the sleigh onto the snowy inner base using CA glue.

Attach a string or cord through the star-shaped hook at the top for hanging.

If printed as a single integrated model, no assembly is required.

Concepto de Diseño

Este modelo es un adorno navideño que combina una esfera hueca con un trineo festivo cargado de regalos en su interior. El trineo presenta un diseño clásico en rojo con detalles decorativos blancos, mientras que los paquetes aportan un toque alegre en tonos rojo, verde y dorado. Las perforaciones alrededor de la esfera permiten que la luz pase suavemente, creando un ambiente navideño cálido y mágico.

Ajustes de Impresión (Hi Combo)

Impresora Hi Combo; tiempo aproximado 3–6 horas según el tamaño; altura de capa 0.16 mm; relleno 10–20%; material PLA.

La esfera se imprime con muy pocos soportes; solo se recomiendan en la plataforma interior si es necesario.

Usar 3–4 paredes para mejorar resistencia y estabilidad al colgar.

Velocidad lenta en perímetros mejora la suavidad de la esfera y conserva los detalles del trineo y los regalos.

Z-seam orientado en la parte trasera para una vista frontal más limpia.

Opcional: imprimir el trineo y los regalos por separado en PLA rojo, verde, dorado y tonos madera para un acabado más vistoso.

Ensamblaje

Si el modelo se imprime por separado (esfera + trineo), pegar el trineo sobre la base interior con textura de nieve usando pegamento CA.

Añadir un hilo o cordón en el gancho superior con forma de estrella para colgar.

Si se imprime como una sola pieza, no requiere ensamblaje.
