Purpose

This magnet is the perfect blend of style and utility. It serves as a striking decorative piece for any refrigerator or magnetic surface, allowing motorsport enthusiasts to bring a touch of racing flair to their home or office.

Printing & Technical Details

To ensure the best results, we recommend using high-quality PLA or PETG in bold colors.

Layer Height: 0.1mm is recommended to capture the smooth, curved details and iron.

The download includes two versions:

Pre-configured (Magnet Pockets): Designed for a "Pause at Height" print. The holes are sized at 7mm (diameter) x 2.1mm (depth).

Customizable: A solid version without holes, allowing you to design your own inserts or glue magnets to the exterior.

Magnet Installation (Encapsulated Method)

For the version with integrated holes, follow these steps for a clean, "hidden magnet" finish:

-In your slicer, add a Pause Command (M600 or Pause at Height) just before the printer starts covering the magnet holes.

-When the printer pauses, carefully place the magnets into the cylinders.

-Ensure the magnets are seated flat so the nozzle doesn't hit them.

-Resume the print to seal the magnets inside the piece.

-No adhesive is required for this method, as the filament will permanently lock the magnets in place!
