Printbed Scraper — Double-Sided (Shared Handle)

🧩 Description

A compact, double-sided printbed scraper: two working edges on one shared handle. When one edge gets nicked, flip and keep going — saving filament versus printing two tools. The handle has a chamfered bottom so the part pops off the bed easily after printing. Clean leverage, comfortable grip, and a tidy, elegant look for your bench.

🖨️ Printing Tips

Orientation: Flat on the bed, handle up.

Supports: Not required.

Adhesion: PEI (smooth or textured) with a light glue stick or other adhesion aid recommended.

After print, if needed, lightly deburr the edge with fine sandpaper.

🛠️ Recommended Settings

Generic profiles work well — no exotic tweaks required.

Material: Print with a strong filament for durability, PETG or ABS recommended. PLA is also possible, but it will wear faster.

First layer: 0.24 mm

Next layers: 0.12 mm (smoother finish, a bit more flex) – 0.20 mm (faster print, more stiffness)

Bottom layers: 5

Walls / perimeters: 5

Top/Bottom pattern: Concentric

Perimeter generator: Arachne walls engine (if your slicer supports it)

Ironing: You can enable ironing on the topmost surface for a cleaner finish

🧰 Use & Care

Work at a low angle with gentle pressure on PEI; avoid digging into the sheet.

If you regularly fight very stubborn parts, consider PETG/ABS and keep 5 perimeters for stiffness.
