My 2 and a half years old son loves to play and I didn't want to buy another guitar or ukulele toy. So I've looked for a project that I would reinforce and print using ABS. And this one is the perfect one, made by @Tomek (Hex Ukulele).

This design is an attempt to join some classical ukulele forms with some hexagon details and I've loved the way I've printed using natural and black ABS, and how fun it was to color it with my kids.

If you're not going to use ABS, you can probably print it using PET-G to make it strong enough to falls.

The original project can be 3d printed on standard printer (this time all parts fits on 215x215 bed or 210x240), and I've already separated the parts by plate so it can be easier for you to print plate by plate.

No additional parts (Nothing except string is required - no tuning pegs, bridges, bolts, nuts etc., everything is 3d printed (you can add carbon fiber strips but it is optional)

No glue - all parts can be assembled and disassembled with 3d printed bolts and joints. This is great for future improvements and upgrades. You can always use some glue for rigidity, but it is not necessary.

No glue needed on bed plate - I've changed speed for first layer and other layers.

No supports needed - all parts are designed to be printed without supports (just print parts, assemble put the strings on, tune it and play).

Nice shape: just classical shape ukulele and some hexagon style for color printing or using just one color if you want

Full feature 4-string ukulele - scale length is 350mm. I'm using a standard High-G Ukulele Strings set.

This one is a bit more challenging. You have multicolor printing (on single nozzle printer), weird overhangs and a bit of bridging. But don't worry. Everything is designed to be printed as easy as possible.
