3. Printing Recommendations

• High-resolution printing is recommended to achieve a cleaner and more refined appearance.

Suggested layer height: 0.2 mm or less (e.g. 0.16 mm or 0.12 mm).

• For better durability, use high-rigidity or heat-resistant filament, especially if the case will be used frequently or carried around.

• Since this is a functional item that is opened, closed, and handled regularly, increasing wall count or infill slightly can improve overall strength and long-term usability.

4. Assembly Instructions (Important)

After printing, the parts must be assembled to complete the case.

The joint (hinge) sections require one of the following assembly methods:

Option A: Screw and Nut Assembly (Recommended)

• Use M3 pan head screws (30 mm length) together with M3 nuts.

This method provides strong and reliable joints and is recommended for long-term use.

Option B: Printed Pin Assembly

• You may also print the pin parts included in the model data and use them to assemble the joint sections.

This option allows full assembly without metal hardware.

Please note that joint areas may require minor adjustment (such as light sanding) depending on filament type and print accuracy.

5. Custom Inner Tray / Divider Design

The inner divider section can be custom-designed by the user to suit specific storage needs.

If you plan to create your own inner tray model, please use the following reference dimensions:

Recommended Inner Tray Dimensions

• 176 mm × 109 mm × 34.5 mm

• Corner radius: R11 mm

• Top edge lip width: 1 mm

• Chamfer on the top edge: approximately 80°

By following these dimensions, users can create customized trays with different compartment layouts, depths, and wall thicknesses for screws, tools, or specialized parts.
