20 mm PVC Pipe Hinge – Print-in-Place

Why: I needed a cheap, sturdy hinge for a DIY chicken/duck coop. This design slides/snaps directly onto 20 mm PVC pipe and has a flat back so you can also screw or glue it to a flat surface if needed.

Design Notes

True print-in-place hinge mechanism – no assembly required.

Open “lip” on the hinge lets you clamp or tighten around the pipe if necessary.

Works for 90 ° swing. (A 180 ° version is coming soon.)

Compatible with resin or PVC glue if you want a permanent bond.

Printer: Creality K1 SE

Material: PLA Rapid+ from Deeplee

Layer height: 0.2 mm

Standard 0.4 mm nozzle

Speed: max setting

No supports, no raft or brim

Ready to go right off the bed
