Want to be a 3D Printer for Halloween? Now you can with this 3D printed tool head and nozzle along with other basic supplies. I designed this costume for my own Halloween party and it was a big hit! The toolhead is multicolor, has a hole cutout to allow standard filament to pass through, and a press fit hook to easily be secured to the rest of the costume.

Materials Needed for 3D Printer Costume:

1. Large Cardboard Box

2. Duct Tape (or similar tape)

3. Filament Spool (optional but recommended)

4. Paint (optional)

Tools Needed:

1. 3D Printer

2. Box Cutter or Scissors

Instructions for Assembly:

1. Print Toolhead buildplate (2 parts)

2. Cutout 1 side of cardboard box

3. Cutout neck hole for cardboard box based on your head and neck size

4. Cutout top part of cardboard box

5. Use paint or duct tape to cover the cardboard box to improve aesthetic (optional)

6. Cutout 2 holes on either side of the cardboard box for X axis to hold the toolhead. Locate these holes such that the toolhead will be above your head when wearing the costume.

7. Cutboard strips and duct tape together to create the X Axis rails. (optional - paint or otherwise decorate the X Axis)

8. Install the X Axis cardboard rails and the toolhead print into the cardboard box.

9. (Optional) Tape an almost empty filament spool to the side of the box. Route the filament through the toolhead. I recommend attaching another filament spool on the opposite side of the box as a counterweight for balance.
