Design Concept

This modular display is designed for Hot Wheels collectors who want a customizable and scalable solution to showcase their cars. Each unit holds one standard Hot Wheels car and features a snap-fit connection system, allowing seamless expansion in all directions (sides, top, and bottom).

Two complementary models are included:

1. Wall-Mounted Version: Features mounting holes for direct wall attachment. You only need to print a few units with mounting holes to support the entire display structure.

2. Standard Version (No Holes): Designed to complement the wall-mounted units, allowing expansion without additional wall fixtures.

Print Settings

For optimal results, configure your 3D printer with the following settings:

- Infill: 10-15% for durability without excessive material use.

- Walls/Perimeters: 2 walls for sufficient strength.

- Layer Height: 0.2 mm for a smooth and detailed finish.

- Supports: Required only for the snap-fit connections to ensure proper alignment and fit.

Assembly

Prepare the Units: Print the necessary combination of wall-mounted and standard units. Ensure snap-fit areas are clean of excess filament.

Wall Mounting: Secure the wall-mounted units using screws or adhesive as per your preference. Use only enough units to support the overall weight of your display.

Expand the Display: Connect standard units to the mounted ones using the snap-fit system, expanding in your desired configuration.

Finalize: Adjust and align the display, then add your Hot Wheels cars to complete the setup.
