This file will produce a drive gear and hexagonal axle for the Spin Master All-Terrain Batmobile. Replacement is simple.

Print time is approximately 30 minutes, you will need to do about five minutes of finishing work on the parts, and removal of the old gear and installation of the new will take about 10 minutes using only a Phillips-head driver (PH1). You will need to remove both wheels on each side to access the gear drive system.

This is a two-piece build. You need both pieces! The small circular piece fits into the "gear side" recession and is sized to be a spacer to replicate the original (white) gear's dimensions.

You'll need to use a 1/8" bit (from the "gear side"; drill in from the recession) and 5/64" bit (from the "pillar side"; drill in from the top of the hexagonal axle) to size the through-holes properly. Use a piece of wire as a depth gauge to make sure you don't drill the 1/8" all the way through. The 1/8" hole will accept the gear's mounting pin and the 5/64" hole will accept the screw through the wheel hub that mounts the wheel to the axle. It's important that both are drilled to a good depth, but not too far.

You will also need to resize the recession in the "gear side" of the main assembly to accept the small spacer. I used the 1/8" bit and shaved the inside of the gear recession to make it wider rather than trying to sand down the small plastic piece to fit. It took no more than a minute to size it correctly, and the spacer should fit snugly but should not require a tool to seat completely. Remember to resize the hole of the spacer to 1/8" as well. I did this after inserting it into the gear.
