Design Concept

Hanging pot designed for string of pearls plant or any other hanging plant that likes to dangle and prefers a lot of water drainage. Simply tip the pot towards the "mouth" to pour out the excess water. Make sure not to let it sit for too long or it may overflow out of the "mouth" and onto your floor.

Print Settings

15% infill minimum.

Use supports for the pot itself.

I recommend printing the pot upside down for optimal aesthetics.

Assembly

STRING AND KEY RING NOT PROVIDED.

Place the grate inside the pot with the smaller side down. Make sure it is level before planting inside.

Maximum string diameter of 1/2 centimeter or 1/8 inch recommended. The thinner the string, the easier it will be to get through the string tunnels. I recommend printing this pot before purchasing string, so you can bring it with you to try out different string sizes. Make sure whichever string you chose can bear the weight of the pot filled with soil/rock and plant.

Tie string together at the base using any basic stopper knot, and use a bowline knot at the top of each string to attach it to a key ring, carabiner, or any other ring-shaped suspension device. Burn ends or wrap with tape to prevent string from fraying.
