Design Concept

This 3D printed Hummingbird Bath is inspired by the simplicity and elegance of natural bird baths, with a small basin that's perfect for tiny hummingbirds to perch while enjoying the water.

Purpose

The Hummingbird Bath provides a beautiful focal point in your garden, attracting not only hummingbirds but also serving as an artistic centerpiece.

Printing Advice

For optimal results, print using a weather-resistant filament such as PETG or ABS. A layer height of 0.2mm will ensure smooth curves and finishes.

Assembly Instructions

The plates should be printed separately. You will need these extra items:

Thick wire - I am using .060 Stainless Safety Wire.

Tape to cover the wire

Small piece of silicone tube. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DLNH81LJ

After printing all 3 plates

Test the basin for water tightness and seal if necessary. Should be good w/ the provided print settings using PETG.

If hanging this, Add enough thick wire to the basin through the holes provided. Make sure to cover the wire to make it visible to your little visitors.

Cut a piece of tubing just long enough for the pump to sit on the bottom and be connected to the nipple of the dome. Cut a slit in the middle of the tube to relief pressure.

Thread tube through the center hole of the plate and connect one end to the pump and the other to the dome. Place the pump in the bucket then put the plate inside with the dome in the keepers of the plate.

Align the half moon edge holes of the plate and bucket so the pump wire oute freely to the solar panel.

Fill the bucket to the bottom of the plate.

Set up the solar panel and enjoy!
