Design Concept

This 3D-printed sign has a heartfelt touch with the message 'Grandma's Home' & 'Best MOM Ever' surrounded by embossed heart patterns and a bright flower design. It evokes a warm and welcoming feeling, perfect for displaying in a cozy home setting.

Purpose

This sign is intended as a decorative piece for a grandmother's & mothers home, serving as a charming and personalized welcome sign that adds a personal touch to any entryway or living room.

Printing Recommendations

Use PLA or PETG filament to achieve a smooth finish, and consider using a dual-extrusion printer to effectively capture the various colors employed in the design. Infill can be minimal (around 10-15%) since it's primarily a decorative item.

Assembly Instructions

Once 3D printed, the letters and the flower can be painted using acrylic paints for enhanced color vibrancy. Secure the components with silicone adhesive onto the sign base. Ensure the freestanding mounting is covered with non-slip pads to ensure stability on varying surface types. Glue the hearts into the plate stands.

The dimples are incase someone wants to drill and install on a wall with screws.

I took it a step further on the Grandma sign and used print as a pattern to cast into aluminum, turned out well.

With a CFS you can color the background, hearts, flower, letters, border, stand and inserts and color one wants, have fun with it.
