Most modern printers now have a wiping brush to clean the nozzle before every print. Using this mount you can add this feature to the Ender 3 V3 KE reducing the risk of any debris from the nozzle ending up on your print. It is easily mounted using a M4 nut. A thumbscrew for the nut is included.

Printing

Use 3 or 4 walls for the mount for extra strength

Assembly

Use any generic brass wire brush from Aliexpress for example and cut off the head to a length of 42 mm. Glue the brush to the mount. Predrill through the holes in the mount into the brush using a 2mm or 2.5mm drill. Insert M3 screws to secure the brush to the mount. Attach the mount to the bed using a M4 nut in the thumbscrew.

Startup gcode

Adjust the starting gcode to include the wiping process. Insert the following line after the line that sets the nozzle temperature (something like: "M140 S[bed_temperature_initial_layer_single] ;Set bed temp"):
