UPDATE: Added more support to the ceiling wall of the gear for added strength. (PETG) test trial failed at this point connected to the teeth. Steel sprocket survived initial test! Recommend using Nylon or at the very least ABS.

ADDED: Sprocket press piece, This piece can be used when pressing in the steel sprocket to prevent the walls surrounding the sprocket from "blow out" when heating and pressing into the gear.

Assembly Instructions: This part requires some modification of your original gear:

Remove the Steel Sprocket: Carefully remove the steel sprocket from the original, mold-injected plastic gear.

This sprocket is essential for the gear's functionality, as it meshes with the chainsaw's chain.

Install the Sprocket into the 3D Printed Gear: Heat up the steel sprocket and press it into the 3D printed gear.

You may need to use a heat source (e.g., a heat gun) to heat the metal enough to allow the sprocket to fit into place.

Secure the Sprocket: Once the sprocket is inserted, apply a strong adhesive or epoxy to ensure it stays securely in place. This will provide added stability and prevent the sprocket from loosening during use.

Fit the Gear: After the adhesive has dried and the sprocket is securely in place, reassemble the gear into your chainsaw, following the manufacturer's instructions.
