Turntable Bearings & Rotation

The turntable rotates on a 608RS bearing (8mm x 22mm x 7mm), ensuring smooth and stable movement.

For optimal print results, print the turntable top-down. This eliminates the need for additional support layers under the platform, keeping infill on the outer surface.

Magnetic Marker Assembly

The marker cubes are designed for 5x3mm magnets, allowing easy attachment and alignment.

Alternatively, you can use the included pin models if you prefer a non-magnetic connection.

How to Use the Turntable

Step 1: Setup

Place the turntable on a flat, stable surface.

Ensure the scanning object fits within the turntable's weight and size limits.

Step 2: Positioning the Object

Center the object on the turntable to ensure even rotation.

Use the dedicated markers to improve tracking accuracy (recommended for complex surfaces).

Step 3: Scanning Process

Start your 3D scanner (optimized for Creality Raptor, but compatible with other models).

Slowly rotate the turntable either manually or with an automated system (if applicable).

Adjust scanner settings for optimal lighting and focus.

Let the scanner capture the full 360° of the object.

Using the Markers for Better Scanning

Attach the custom tracking markers to the object’s surface or place them around the scanning area.

Ensure markers are evenly distributed to improve tracking and reduce scan errors.

Start scanning and watch how markers enhance alignment and precision.
