Design Concept

I’ve always had a massive love for both the world of Pokémon and the classic slasher vibes of the Scream franchise. There is something really fun about mashing up two completely different parts of pop culture, and I've been inspired by seeing other creators in the community making themed Pokéballs. I wanted to create something unique for my own collection, so I designed the "Slasher Sphere." This version captures the haunting, elongated visage of Ghostface’s iconic mask—complete with those deep, expressive eye sockets and the signature "silent scream" mouth—while keeping that familiar, nostalgic shape we all grew up with.

Assembly

This model is engineered for a tight, high-precision friction fit. I recommend starting by pressing the black eye and nose chips into the pockets on the white top mask shell. I designed the eye sockets to be slightly deeper than the inserts to create a recessed "shadow" effect that mimics the hollow look of the movie mask. The white mouth triangle should be pressed into the black bottom shell; it is specifically shaped to sit flush against the front button housing. Use the internal rectangular filler block to align the top and bottom shells with the center ring. While the parts are designed to snap together snugly, a small drop of super glue is recommended for the smaller inserts or the front button assembly to ensure everything stays permanently secured for display.
