SP02L continues the line of 3D printable lamps that gives new life to filament spools.

Those of us who print know what it's like to have spent spools lying around not knowing what to do with them, plus the fact that they are difficult to recycle. That's why I've created this design line that ingeniously plays with the spools to make the most of them.

To assemble it you only have to print 2 times the same piece (SP02L.stl) to make the small lamp and 4 times to make the big one. These halves are attached to a spool and tied together with thread or you can even use leftover filament.

You can play with the combination of the different types and colours of spools you have: dark or transparent, plastic or cardboard..... I have used a cardboard spool from Polyterra.

The outer diameter of the lamp is 22,5 cm, I have left a margin so that you can assemble it with different brands of spools of 1kg. You can even scale the design to be able to assemble a smaller version with smaller spools!
