Warning!! Not easy project over 4000 pcs!!!

Hello everyone I decided to make Christmas Tree for this competition because in place where I am from this is most common symbol of Christmas. This project is not easy to make due to time and filament consumption. Total weight of the tree is app. 1.5kg and print time reaches 90h+. After all this boring and monotony process there is a lot of fun building the tree up. Main concern of the tree is its spinning ability so you can play with setup of branches.

Assembling took me about 6 hours and actually I fell like playing Lego. here is step by step assembling guide to achieve spinning effect and stability.

1 print all brown parts except small rings

2 fit the first part of main beam in to stand and glue it together ( I used superglue)

3 sand down with 240g small cube and cylinder from top and bottom to achieve flat smooth surface on both

4 slide small cube (spinning branch connector) on the beam do not glue this part

5 slide cylinder on the beam press it firmly to the spinning cube and glue to the beam holding it in position

6 repeat process until reach end of beam (optional if using short beams x2 use smaller cylinder to join while sliding other parts)

7 print small rings and needles (taking forever)

8 print white branches tips (white plate)

9 fit branch in to branch tip slide small ring slide needles (green plate) keep repeating until reach end finish with 3x small ring at the end of each branch leave 3 mm gap for sliding in to spinner

10 insert made branches into slots on spinner following decreasing size order to achieve triangular shape. (optional you can glue branches in to spinners)
