This design reimagines the traditional Valentine’s Day gift by blending functionality with emotional symbolism. At the centre of the design is a large, opening heart that not only symbolizes love and affection but also serves as a multifunctional keepsake.

Inside the heart lies a carefully crafted, removable vase that can hold fresh or dried flowers, allowing the recipient to display their favourite blooms. Alongside the vase are two dedicated slots for photo frames (dimensions: 10.5 cm x 8 cm), perfect for capturing cherished memories. These frames, like the vase, are designed to be fully detachable and can be displayed independently, offering flexibility in how the gift is used and appreciated.

To ensure both form and function, every element of this design has been engineered with stability in mind. A custom stand supports the heart, vase, and frames, ensuring perfect balance whether the pieces are displayed together or separately. The seamless integration of the stand complements the aesthetic appeal while maintaining practical usability.

This project is more than a simple decoration; it is a celebration of love and shared memories. It’s a perfect gift for those who value thoughtful design, emotional connection, and the beauty of 3D printing innovation. By combining striking visuals with practical features, this heart transforms into a meaningful centrepiece that resonates with sentiment and style.

Due to complex design print require supports to be turned on.

I recommend to use PETG filament for heart shell and rest can be printed with PLA

For PETG I used 255C for first layer and 235 for rest of print as nozzle temp, 75C for bed whole print and 50C for chamber

For PLA I used 230C for first layer and 215 for rest of print for nozzle 65C for bed in room temperature

Sunlu Silk - gold

Sunlu PLA - brown

You will need 8 of 8x2.5 round magnets to complete project

For easy to assemble please follow instructions:

all files are named and print separately due to slight changes which ,might be not visible at first look. please do not print parts double unless asked for. (x 'X' in file name indicate multiply prints)

1. after all files printed take bottom back and lay it down.

2. fit washers on hinge poles one on each end.

3. slide right and left top parts on hinges poles follow with another set of washers.

4. fit joining pins in to the slots located on bottom back part (hinge poles and very bottom).

5. fit bottom front on the pins and press together.

6. the only tricky part of assembling is pressing heart in to stand. Stand is designed in the way it can firmly hold whole heart without wobble so you need to be careful when doing this step.

7. fit magnets for picture frames and mid plate (mind magnets for picture frames fits from bottom of mid plate)

8. fit 2 magnets in to slots on top left and top right parts

9. fit mid plate inside heart bottom (for extra strength you can glue it)

10 fit magnets to slot on middle of plate and to the flower pot.

11 JOB DONE!
