Design Concept

The CF Velociraptor embodies agility and precision through its faceted crystalline design. Its sleek, upright stance highlights the long tail and curved claws, with sharp angular planes accentuating its alert, predatory posture. The narrow head and open jaw convey speed and ferocity, while the geometric styling gives it a striking, modern edge.

Purpose

The Velociraptor symbolizes intelligence, cunning, and teamwork. This crystalline version captures the raptor’s reputation as a swift and strategic hunter, making it an ideal complement to larger figures like the CF T-Rex. It represents sharp wit paired with relentless determination.

Printing Recommendations

Dark metallic tones such as gunmetal, bronze, or obsidian filaments highlight the aggressive facets, while lighter stone or grey shades can evoke a fossilized look. Its narrow limbs and raised posture may require supports beneath the arms, jaw, and tail tip for stability during printing. Printing at a slightly larger scale can better preserve detail in the claws and head.

Assembly Instructions

The CF Velociraptor is a single-piece model, requiring no assembly. After printing, a matte coat can emphasize the clean polygonal lines. For added effect, dry-brushing metallic highlights across the claws, jawline, and dorsal ridge can enhance its sleek crystalline silhouette.
