This model is part of my new MMW — Makers Modular Workstations series. MMW is the brand I’m developing to unify all of my modular workstation designs under a single, maker‑focused ecosystem. This particular model provides a complete overview of my Creality MMW-K2PW K2 Plus Workstation, a modular system designed to enhance the K2 Plus for hobbyists, makers, and anyone building a clean, efficient, and reliable printing environment. Each component was created to solve a specific workflow challenge: filament handling, tool organization, stability, cable routing, and multi‑material readiness.

Workstation Design Goals

The workstation was developed around several key functional requirements:

A) A stable, portable bench capable of supporting the K2 Plus and all associated accessories.

B) Integration of the K2 Plus, one CFS, and a Space Pi Dryer into a unified layout.

C) A top‑feed filament path suitable for TPU and other flexible materials, with selectable feeds from either the Space Pi or the CFS.

D) Storage capacity for tools, spare parts, and frequently used accessories.

E) Quick‑change capability when switching between filament types and feed sources.

This overview acts as the central hub for the entire workstation. It includes links to all individual components, recommended layout, assembly notes, and future planned modules. The goal is to offer a practical, remix‑friendly system that evolves with the community.

Core Structure

The workstation is built on a Larbanke 48" Adjustable Workbench (2000 lb rating, Amazon). The following assemblies are mounted to it:

• K2 Plus 3D Printer

• K2 Plus Riser with Dome Top Feed

Improves the filament path for top‑feed operation, enabling reliable use of softer materials. Supports filament input from either the CFS or the Space Pi Plus Dry Box. Includes a hand‑feed unit with protective cover for Space Pi loading.

🧩 Assembly Layout

The workstation is designed around a simple principle: everything has a place, and every module supports the next.

Recommended Layout

• Position the K2 Plus on the left side of the bench, leaving room for the filament waste container and build plate stand.

• Install the K2 Plus drawer with build plates stand beneath the printer.

• Install the K2 Plus Riser with Dome Top Feed onto the printer.

• Position the CFS Stand at the right‑rear corner of the bench.

• Place the Space Pi Plus Dry Box Stand between the CFS and the K2 Plus.

• Route the CFS filament tube so it aligns cleanly with the Dome Top Feed input, avoiding tight bends.

• Align the Space Pi feed tube with the Dome Top Feed and insert it securely.

• Once optimal filament paths are confirmed (no drag, no sharp angles), secure the CFS Stand and Space Pi Stand to the bench.
