3. PTFE K2 Plus nozzle wiper.

This upgrade allows for users to have stress-free purges with the K2 series printers, ensuring that every purge goes down into the chute, rather than clogging it. Earlier, we have seen many of our fellow users complain about their poop chutes getting clogged by inaccurate and bad wipes using the stock metal plate wipers.

How to assemble:

1. Follow this guide to disassemble your nozzle wiper:

2. Assemble your new nozzle wiper:

a) Download and print the following parts:

-Nozzle Wiper Spring

-Nozzle Wiper Base

b) Insert 2x M3 Nuts into the recessed point in the “Nozzle Wiper Base.”

c) Screw the “Nozzle Wiper Spring” into the base using a M2.5 x 5-6mm socket head screw.

d) Slide the assembly onto the K2 printer chute.

Tighten and secure the assembly using 2x M3x8mm Countersunk Screws

7. K2 Creepbuddy-STOP HEATCREEPNOW!!!

A simple Physics-proven solution to stop heatcreep, using the existing hardware. All you need to do is download and print the “K2 Creepbuddy.”

Simply unscrew the 2 screws inside the printhead holding onto the Heatbreak fan, slide in the Creepbuddy using the 2 guiderails, and screw the fan back on.

Why does this work? The air is pushed in all directions using the stock heatbreak fan because it can spill everywhere. However, this model eliminates that by constraining the air to spill directly and cover all over the heatbreak, preventing heatcreep. Here is an explanation of this phenomenon and the physics behind it.

This scanner allows for micromillimeter scanning over the entire hotbed, just like a scan like this, as viewed in fluidd software.

9. Cartoshield

Cartoshield is extremely useful when it comes to protecting your cartographer, so it does not get damaged by outside forces. Users have asked me to make the cartoshield for Carto V4, as when screws or other debris falls out, and hits the cartographer, it is very likely you will need a costly replacement of your cartographer. This shield efficiently protects it, without any extra hardware.

Both files for V3 and V4 cartographers are here, named respectfully as “Cartoshield V3” and “Cartoshield V4.”

10. CFS Saver

Physics proven idea to benefit multicolor and multimaterial printing within the CFS MATERIAL SYSTEM. This modification is a direct clip-on, requiring no hardware at all, and eliminates jams caused by the cfs itself. When retracting and extruding, the cfs usually tangles up the filament in all kinds of ways until one day you will find yourself with an entirely tangled roll of filament, that's not pullable at all. This physics-proven idea of real world physical products helps with this. Pulls the jams apart, feeds properly. Here:

11. First layer calibration

This simple first layer test helps you see how perfect your first layer is. This is important, as the first layer decides how your entire print will turn out, and this simple calibration helps prevent further mishaps and unrecoverable situations.

12. Exhaust ventilation tubing system:

This system of piping fits 100mm+ diameter exhaust ventilation pipes, and this prevents fume intoxication and microplastic dangers. Just use a worm gear clamp around the exhaust pipe, and clamp it onto this ventilation tube. Simply glue this ventilation tube on, and then voila!

13. Purge deflector

This modification aids in deflecting purge material and waste down to your trash removal system, helping increase productivity.

14. TPU Modded extruder.

This simple modification, a TPU Stopper, aids to help solve filament jams effectively and assembly instructions and explanations can be found in this video by @stayreadyto3dprint.

15. Rotating PTFE Tube for K2 Dragchain.

This dragchain clip-on allows the bowden/PTFE tube to rotate freely, and best of all, it is a completely print-in-place design.

Therefore, the PTFE tube is not constrained anymore, allowing for free movement of the tube.
