This is my version of a hose guide system, designed to print in two separate pieces.

I wanted to avoid using any hardware because, realistically, I would probably forget to remove it at some point and end up destroying it. So I decided to make everything fully 3D printed and as simple as possible. Let’s be honest, most of us are eventually going to forget to remove it and absolutely demolish it anyway.

I do not really use these for washing. Instead, I have them placed around my old Alfa Romeo project car because it gets incredibly annoying when the air hose constantly snags on corners and edges while working around the car.

I also added mounting options so it can hang on a screw or on regular hooks.

I printed the main body in PETG to give it a bit of flex. During prototyping, I printed the roller in PLA, but I will probably use PETG or ABS next time for better durability.

Assembly is simple:

Push one side of the roller into the bottom slot
Slightly flex the main body upward's
Push the other side of the roller into place
And that is it.

I am not completely sure if PETG is the best material choice for the main body, but it has been working well for me so far.

Print settings:

Print as oriented
No supports needed
I recommend using a brim since the parts have very little surface contact with the bed
The holes may get slightly rough because of the overhangs, but one quick pass with a deburring tool or a knife cleaned them up perfectly for me.

I probably will not improve this design much in the future since I do not imagine there is a huge demand for something like this, and honestly, I think it already does the job well enough. Still, feedback is always appreciated.
