This is a “Papered” conical Christmas hat.

It is very small and intended purely for decoration — do NOT use it to decorate your cat!

“Papered” means the design is inspired by rolled paper shapes.

When printing the first layer with slightly flexible materials such as PLA, you will find that the wall part can be bent and rolled into a cone, similar to rolling a paper sheet into a tube.

For the blank wall model, you can change the infill pattern and density.

The default setting is 70% triangular infill.

Triangle infill provides better strength, Line infill prints the fastest

If you want to experiment with different infill patterns and densities, it is recommended to run an infill test first:

Required Hardware

In addition to the printed parts, you will need the following hardware:

M3x5 countersunk screw 1 Total length: 5 mm

M3x10 countersunk screw 1 Total length: 10 mm

Assembly Instructions

Install the heat-set inserts before final assembly.

1. Roll the wall into a cone. Decide which side will be the outer (visible) surface.

2. Align the wall’s mounting area with the mounting slot on the brim.

3. Guide the wall into the brim slot, rotating clockwise or counterclockwise.

4. Insert the wall until the screw holes are aligned.

5. Insert the top of the conical wall into the ball.

6. Press down on the brim while slightly compressing the wall inward so the seam disappears.

Also check the outer seam — press gently to keep it flat.

7. Insert the ball’s fixing component.

8. Tighten the screw to secure the ball.

9. Tighten the brim screw to complete the assembly.

The papered-christmas-hat-hair-clip model is a hair clip accessory that uses an M3×15 screw to replace the brim-fixing screw.
