Dipping my toe into the 3D print eco system. I am totally new to this 3D thing, but I have also dabbled in the laser engraving with my falcon2. So the uptick on all the apps and tools has been a learning experience for me.

The apps and tools I have currently:

K2 Plus 3D Printer: Nice printer, works well and I have had no real issues other than self imposed. I will say I looked at this printer as a consumable, and what I mean is that I did not only buy the printer but I also bought the the consumable parts at the same time, Print Heads, Nozzles, Build Plates, Belts, Extruders, Lithium grease, syringe applicators, PTF tubing. Basically all supporting parts to the printer, outside of items that can be RMA'd by Creality by defect, this has saved me in life and printing.

Falcon 2 Laser Engraver: Same thing here, nice tool and does what is needed without issue, although I use it less now than before but it still holds sway in my tool box of things.

Tools:

120 Piece Acrylic Pen Set: Must have if you find printing in multicolor wasteful AF. I am not an artist but that will come in time, but the results are good and predictable.

Rotary hand tool: I good to have for material pruning and correction. This is a wired tool, the handhelds just didn't provide enough power to support the need.

File set: Must have for those pesky supports in tight places the rotary cant get to.

Wire Brushes: Good to have to clean nozzles and sticky stuff, HF three pack for 3.00 is perfect you get plastic, steel and brass.

Pick set: Nice to have to get deep into crevasses and pull out supports or even to push down failing prints on plates, heat it up a little press on medium and typically you are good to go.

Denatured Alcohol or Xylol: If you can get it, I use this to clean plates, tools, and even rub tips for color acrylic mishaps. Funny enough I also use Xylol, which I used to use to clean rusted gas tanks on motorcycles, but works great as a thinner or remover also.

NOTE: Xylol is also an octane booster and fuel system cleaner for combustion engines.

White Lithium Grease & Graphite Powder: Well... this is what I use for greasing guide rods and metal to metal contact points, it comes in spray and tube and sticks to the spot you put it, it also lasts a long time as it thins out, to me it works better then machining oil, although it will not run into voids like machine oil due to viscosity, but will self level over time. Graphite is a great lubricant and is used as a dry lube for things like key cylinders and such, but it works great on guide rods and hinges.

Leatherman: Good tool to have anyway, but great for a fine tip plier to grab supports and misc items within your print or etching.

Epoxy & Super Glue (Quick): Epoxy, Glue and putty, yes its binary but yes it will hold your project together if you have a break, you can even sand it (Wear a Mask ) if you do, that stuff will get into everything including your lungs. Also quick dry super glue is a must have, epoxy takes time to cure quick fix's with super glue are perfect for PLA. I use epoxy on Petg and CF filaments super glue just cant take the stresses.

Plastic Wood: I also use Plasti-wood putty for engraving mishaps, works great, "stains and sands just like wood" but does take time to set.
