This cigarette case is the result of many prototypes and a lot of development time – designed to be extremely durable and daily-usable, while staying as compact as possible (only slightly bigger than a standard cigarette pack).

✅ Protective lid edges: high enough to avoid damaging cigarettes even when the case is nearly empty

✅ Mouth-pickup friendly: hinge/lid angle allows cigarettes to be pulled out with your mouth (useful when your hands are oily/dirty)

✅ Optimized opening angle: lid opens far enough for easy access without getting in the way of your nose

Fully designed in Fusion 360, engineered with a strong focus on long-term stability, usability and compact size.

Assembly (Hinge)

The case consists of two printed parts (body + lid) connected by a simple yet very strong filament hinge:

Push a piece of filament through the hinge channels of lid and body

Leave a small overhang on both ends

Carefully heat the ends (lighter works) and melt them into small “caps”

Done – a durable, low-play hinge without screws or metal parts

Diese Zigarettenschachtel ist das Ergebnis zahlreicher Prototypen und sehr viel Entwicklungszeit – konstruiert mit dem Ziel, eine maximal stabile, alltagstaugliche Schachtel zu bauen, die dabei kaum größer als eine normale Zigarettenpackung ist.

✅ Kapazität: 21 Zigaretten

✅ Filament-Scharnier: zwei Druckteile werden durch ein Stück Filament verbunden

✅ Satter “Click”-Verschluss: präzise Verriegelung mit sehr befriedigendem Einrast-Geräusch

✅ Perfekte Innenmaße: minimales Spiel nach oben/unten → weniger Tabakverlust

✅ Schutzkanten: Deckelränder sind hoch genug, damit Zigaretten auch bei geringer Füllmenge nicht beschädigt werden

✅ Mund-Entnahme möglich: Deckel/Scharnier-Winkel ist so ausgelegt, dass man Zigaretten sogar mit dem Mund entnehmen kann (z.B. bei öligen Händen)

Das Modell ist komplett in Fusion 360 konstruiert und wurde bewusst auf Langzeit-Stabilität und Alltagstauglichkeit optimiert.

Montage (Scharnier)

Die Schachtel besteht aus 2 Druckteilen (Körper + Deckel) und wird über ein einfaches, extrem stabiles Filament-Scharnier verbunden:

Ein Stück Filament durch die Scharnier-Kanäle von Deckel und Körper schieben

Enden leicht überstehen lassen

Enden vorsichtig erwärmen (z.B. Feuerzeug) und zu kleinen Köpfen verschmelzen

Fertig – ein sehr robustes, spielfreies Scharnier ohne Schrauben/Metallteile
