Model Desription

Pizza Perforator is a 3D-printable dough docker designed to prevent air bubbles in pizza crust. Simply roll it over your dough to create evenly spaced perforations for a flatter, more consistent bake.

The roller is made from 6 interlocking segments with keyed slots for easy assembly and smooth rotation. No Glue or srews require. A 120 mm ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip for everyday use.

Design Concept

This model adapts a classic kitchen tool for 3D printing by using a modular roller design. The segmented build makes printing easier, improves durability, and allows individual parts to be replaced or customized. Keyed connections ensure proper alignment and reliable performance.

Print Settings

Roller with spikes:

15% infill (I prefer Gyroid)

3 walls

Supports (Tree Auto)

Handle:

4 walls

15% Infill (I prefer Gyroid)

Supports (Tree Auto)

100% for the area where the roller clips in (Add modifier over the area and chabge infill for the modifier to 100%) This will give it more flexibility to insert the roller later

Assembly

Stack the six rollers on top of each other taking note of the key slot on the top and the bottom of each piece. The bottom piece do no have a key slot in the bottom space. The next four pieces are the same with a key slot at the bottom and a key on the top. The top piece has a key slot on the bootom, but no key on the top.

Add the spacer to the handle pin

Put the roller over the pin onto the spacer. Bend open the roller arms and slide the roller pin in the roller arm.
