🧩 Description / Design Concept

Universal screw-mounted hook for walls and wood surfaces, designed for everyday organizing in the home, workshop or garage. The simple, robust geometry gives good strength while keeping the print easy and reliable. Perfect for hanging cables, hand tools, bags, small accessories and similar items; hooks can be mounted in any configuration you need.

🖨️ Printing orientation & tips

Print flat on the back plate, with the surface that touches the wall on the print bed. This keeps the screw holes accurate and the hook arm strong.

No supports needed.

Adhesion: PEI smooth or textured sheet with glue stick or another adhesion aid recommended.

🛠️ Recommended settings

Material: PLA, PETG or ABS/ASA (PETG/ASA preferred for higher loads or warmer environments)

Layer height: 0.20 mm (0.16 mm if you want crisper edges)

Walls / perimeters: ≥ 4

Infill: 40–60% (Gyroid / Grid) for solid hooks

Top/Bottom layers: 4–5

Perimeter priority: enable Arachne/variable line width if available for dense, strong walls

Supports: Not required

📝 Notes

For heavier loads, increase walls to 5–6 and keep infill at the higher end of the range.

If screw fit is tight/loose, tune Horizontal Expansion (XY Compensation) ±0.05–0.15 mm rather than scaling the whole model.

Actual load capacity depends on material, screw size, wall anchors, and mounting surface — always test gradually.

🔧 Assembly

Position the hook on the wall or wood surface; optionally use double-sided tape to pre-fix and hold it in place.

Mark and drill pilot holes appropriate for your screws/anchors.

Fasten with wood screws or wall anchors + screws, tightening until snug (don’t overtighten to avoid crushing the plastic).

Check that the hook is secure before loading it.
