I am full time network engineer and only a hobbyist designer.

I got my printer in November 2024 and with the very first print, the door hinge came off the frame and door fell out.

You can imagine how disappointed I was, and the supplier did not really do much to assist.

Then I found amazing door hinge designs for the printer which allowed me to completely upgrade the printer and make it even better.

This was an eye opener for me - The fact that a simple fault could be dismissed and replaced with even better features by printing 3D printable parts.

Pretty soon I wanted to design my own models to suit my needs. A little help from Udemy and Fusion360 got me started.

For me, it is all about the fun of designing & printing.

It is so rewarding to be able to share ideas with others in form of printable models.

A simple idea can become something you can actually hold in your hand! Amazing!

All my models are test-printed. The photos are of the actually prints. I have a box of plastic next to my printer to prove it..lol
