Hello there! I am Michael, or as known on this platform, Maker_Mike. I started my 3D Printing journey when I bought my first printer, an Ender 3 V3 SE. I had so much fun with it that I decided to upgrade to a K1C. Recently I also got a Creality Hi Combo. Now, I have been printing stuff for almost 2 years and LOVE it.

Now, I actually started designing models way back. I was thinking about having my library print them for me, but never tried. The earliest model I remember designing was a model rocket. That particular design never hit the skies, but after I actually got a 3D Printer, I would go on to design many iterations of model rockets. The one pictured below was a complete failure (for obvious reasons), but it was fun to design and see if I could make a plane that could actually somewhat fly.

Ya... It didn’t work.



But, now I have designed many many models, and while hardly any ever make it to the Cloud, it is fun to share even just a small portion of my designs to others. And one of those designs is something that I believe to be one of my best models. The Combination Padlock has got to be one of my favorite designs. While by far not the most complicated, it just gives me a sense of pride when I look at it. It is by far one of my favs.


