I recently went to London ComicCon and was pleased to buy a custom made lightsaber to add to my ever expanding Star Wars collection. I then thought about how to display it but ready made options were almost as much as the saber itself! But wait, I have a 3D printer, Tinkercad and a brain; I can design my own! A short while later I’d come up with my design and was able to print 2 of them for my lightsaber within 14 hours. Quicker than ordering on Amazon Prime! After attaching them to a piece of MDF board I had my stand and a place to display my prized lightsaber. I’ve attached a link to the model if you’re interested in looking or even printing yourself. One tip; to get a better hold of your saber try reducing the size of the second stand to 80% and you’ll get less movement.
