Best Practices to Report a Technical Problem:

1. Identify scope the Problem:

Describe your device type (printer, scanner, engraver, device accessory), with model and firmware version. Describe what Describe the exact issue you are encountering, ie is not working as expected, and under what circumstances (when; operation or task). Include context: Explain what you were doing when the problem occurred, including the steps you took. Specify the affected area: If it's related to a particular application, browser, or device, mention it. Be clear by describing menu or function tab navigation (ie: App>File>Export or Device Tab>Device Details>Axis Movement)

2. Provide Relevant Details:

Error messages: List any error messages, indicate whether you upload log to share to support

Include Screenshots or screen capture if possible. Attach screenshots or screen recordings to visually demonstrate the issue.

Identify Software and device information (Scope).. Do provide the software version, device type firmware version.

Helpful to reduce duplicity but not essential: Describe Troubleshooting steps undertaken taken to try and resolve the issue.

3. Communicate Clearly:

Use clear and concise language: Avoid technical jargon that the help desk might not understand. Be specific and objective: Focus on describing the facts of the problem, rather than subjective opinions.
