Okay, here we go. I've successfully been using Creality FDM printers for about 10 years, so I thought "why not try SLA?" I bought and set up a HALOT R6.

It doesn't work. Not even close.

My test model is a 20mm solidish cylinder about 50mm long(think of a chess piece). Printed standing on end with no supports. Sliced with the Creality Cloud slicer.

What I got was a disc of resin stuck to the build platform a couple of layers thick, a disc of resin stuck to the FEP film, and nothing in between. I increased the bottom layer to 6 and I got a thicker disc on the plate, about what I had previously stuck to the film, and nothing in between.

I would really like to correct that "nothing in between" issue.

I'm using the factory settings, tray and platform both washed and dried, build platform is properly adjusted, room and resin temperature at 20C, and using Anycubic water wash white resin.

Any words of wisdom?
