printed this guy out since I was able to get some translucent purple filament ~ here's what I feel might help others. I think this print would ultimately be best in resin, however, for PLA I think you have to have him almost on his head with supports for the best results (I provided a picture of how he was printed at an angle on his face with supports) it took a little to get him free from the supports, but I went slow and gentle and used a lighter to smooth any roughness from the supports being nipped. overall it came out alright and stands on his own.
