Yesterday I posted a topic: How did you get your first 3D printer?

@JSAviles1: As an artisan, I always wanted a 3D Printer but I couldn't afford one until I came across Creality. I saved up and was able to buy a CR-6 SE. I chose that model because it came practically assembled and had auto-leveling. As a newbie, it was a good model to start with plus it has a large printing size and lots of cool features, and you can use different types of filaments. It's awesome!

@Shawn Tuller: I always dreamed of putting my imagination into reality and being self-sufficient. Since I was a young boy I have taken in as much information as possible to help me aquire my goals. Anybody who knows me knows that I sometimes will take on the impossible and make it happen against the odds. someone I meet had a ender3 brand new never touched and they gave it to me for free, now I just want more.

@Buckna: I got my ender 3 as a Christmas present. The week leading up the christmas my wife kept asking "would you ever use a 3d printer," or "what do you think about 3d printing" general questions. So when i brought up the holiday sale she said "maybe not this year but probably soon" had me going for a full week expressing interest and book Christmas she laughed so hard.

@Eric Holliday: Well my girlfriend became pregnant and I had 7 years experience with modeling and sculpting and I figured it would be the cheapest solution to having a baby which as of this moment it really is (toys, racks, shelves, clips, gate parts , you name it :) )

@Silvertip: Covid 19!!! About three years ago during partial lockdown when we had to stay indoors. I needed to find a new hobby to keep me occupied!!! Never went back....still going strong!!

@TamasTelekfalvi: I got my first 3D printer from my parents at christmas when i was 14. My parents noticed that I was very interested in 3D printers and various objects that could be printed in 3D. So they asked an experienced person what kind of 3D printer they recommend. So I got an Ender 3 pro for Christmas.

@DerekG: I saw my profession disappearing and being replaced with 3d printers. Why have 15 artists/sculptors when you can have 3 running machines. So I started learning to 3d print about five years ago and never looked back. I have nine printers and use them regularly for buisness and personal use.
