As the 3D printing creative ecosystem continues to grow rapidly, original models are being shared and used globally. On one hand, we are truly delighted by the industry’s vibrancy and the explosion of creativity; on the other hand, we recognize that with this growth comes an even greater responsibility to protect intellectual property rights. In recent years, we’ve noticed the widespread circulation, reuse, and even unauthorized reposting of 3D model works across platforms — including cases where works from Creality Cloud have been illegally used elsewhere.

Since its official launch in January 2020, Creality Cloud has been one of the first 3D printing model communities in China. From the very beginning, we have adhered to the principles of “respect originality, encourage innovation, and take firm action against infringement.” We have continuously refined our content governance system, and we would like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to protecting intellectual property rights:

Zero Tolerance for Infringement and Unfair Competition

We have zero tolerance for any unauthorized model reposting, modification, or commercial use. Once verified, such content will be immediately removed in accordance with the law and our platform policies, and offending accounts will be permanently banned.
If a user’s unauthorized actions result in legal liability for the platform, Creality Cloud reserves the right to pursue legal action. We leave no grey area for any act that harms creators or undermines the platform’s integrity.
At the same time, we continue to strengthen the prevention and punishment of malicious competition, including enhanced monitoring of abnormal accounts and appropriate action based on platform rules and legal standards.

Dedicated Compliance Team for Continuous Oversight

Since the launch of Creality Cloud, we have maintained a dedicated compliance team responsible for handling copyright complaints, conducting manual reviews, and performing risk assessments. Over the years, this team has consistently monitored and governed model content. To date, we have processed and removed thousands of suspected infringing models and permanently banned nearly one hundred offending accounts.

Strong Support for Original Creators

Creality Cloud stands firmly alongside original creators, resolutely protecting their legitimate rights. For example, the “Turtle Cup Holder (no support)” model went viral in the first half of this year and was subsequently copied onto other platforms. In response, we acted immediately to assist the creator, Adel, in registering national copyright protection and closely monitored the enforcement process, ensuring their original work was fully safeguarded.

Community Collaboration and Reporting

We understand that protecting intellectual property can often be a long and challenging journey, requiring creators to invest significant time and effort. Beyond the platform’s governance mechanisms, the support of every community member is equally vital. We sincerely invite everyone to join us in safeguarding original works. If you come across any models on the platform that you suspect to be infringing, please submit the model link and relevant details through the reporting channel. We will respond promptly and verify originality in a timely manner.

At the same time, Creality Cloud works with a team of professional lawyers dedicated to handling infringement cases. The platform will also regularly disclose processed cases through lawful means within the community. Through the combined efforts of the platform and users, every creator can work and share in a safer, more supportive environment.

Reporting Channels

1. Individual infringing models:

Visit the model’s detail page, click the “Report” button at the bottom right, select “Model Infringement” as the reason, and provide supporting materials and links. The dedicated compliance team will handle the report within 3 business days.

2. Users upload multiple infringing models:

Open the user’s profile, click the “Report” button under their card, select “Copyright Issue” as the reason, and provide relevant supporting materials and links. The compliance team will similarly process the report within 3 business days.

3. Expedited channel:

For urgent cases, creators and users can contact us directly via email for priority handling. We will follow up within 1–2 business days: Official Email: teamcloud@creality.com
