Description
I needed a new trash can to have besides my 3D printers for small bits and pieces of filament and failed prints. I'm currently learning Blender so I wanted to create a simple design from scratch instead of scaling up someone else's design.
I made an Instagram video of the printing process that you can see here.
Printing Details
This is meant to be printed in vase mode. I got inspired by Joel over at 3D Printing Nerd and his video on creating stronger vase mode prints by over extruding. Watch this video for some good tips.
I print with a 0.6mm nozzle with an extrusion width of 0.8mm. I did this one at 0.28mm layer height to speed things up a bit. Also, you might have to experiment with slowing down the speed and raising the temperature to get enough filament flowing since you're over extruding. Watch the video above ;)
