Another day, another model! With this one I decided to go for an “aged” appearance to make it look like rusty metal. 2 coats of grey primer, 2 coats of light rust paint, 1 coat of chipping medium then the final coat of steel paint. After drying it’s just a case of using a bit of water and an old toothbrush to stipple and remove some of the top coat to reveal the rust. The chipping medium is what makes this possible and provides a pleasing result. All paints and the chipping medium are Vallejo brand. Pleased with how this came out and hope you like it
