Hey all! I've just received a 1.6W Laser Module which will fit to the standard Ender 3 printer and others. A great little addition and at a fraction of the cost of buying a Falcon Laser Engraver. I've only just unboxed it but have made a short video of me doing so in order for you to get an idea of what you're getting. I'll apologize now for my commentary but you can mute it if you want! This is only the 1.6W version but there are 5W and 10W models available. I'm yet to install and use it but will be doing so over the next week and will post videos and pictures as I progress. Hopefully these will give a good idea to anyone who's interested in getting into laser engraving and/or cutting. As a guide the different modules are priced on the Creality Europe store as follows: 1.6W £109 5W £139 10W £219 The prices on the US store are comparative once converted to USD but you can pick them up cheaper at Amazon or other online vendors. If you compare that to the price of the Falcon2 at around £949 then it makes sense to make use of your FDM printer and add this module. Stand by for more videos once they're ready.
