Hey everyone, I'm going to put my serious hat on for this one and jump up on my "high horse" as I'm concerned about the rise in inappropriate content and models creeping back onto the app. Some time ago I lobbied Creality to allow a very select few people to be able to delete inappropriate content immediately from the app and site. This worked very well, especially with content added over the weekend which used to stay on there for a few days if Creality weren't there to remove it. Unfortunately now though this ability has been removed which means we can't not take posts down if needed. I fully understand that this ability takes up valuable memory space and programming capabilities etc. so can't complain about Creality's reasoning but it is still a bit concerning. The reason for me speaking out now is not just that there are a lot of irrelevant pictures and videos being posted but models are being added of fully working handguns. This is a cause for major concern as not only is this illegal in most countries that use this app, but it will also expose younger users and children to the ability to create a weapon that could potentially kill someone. The two recent models I've seen and have been alerted to by another user (thank you) have comments and descriptions confirming that they are fully functional so this is very worrying. So, my message here is directly to Creality to implement a better screening process for models that are added to the app and to have a dedicated person or team that can monitor and remove inappropriate content and models. At present, the main concern when adding a model appears to intellectual property theft and originality of designs. These are of course important but if I was to design and original, working gun then that's fine according to the current screening criteria. Hopefully Creality will be able to look at this quickly and realise the potential problem that may be building within the app and the 3D printing community.[%2443000667][%1951448743][%9025875971]
