Use any different network:

~ Your phone hotspot

~ A second home Wi-Fi

~ A neighbour’s guest Wi-Fi (if available)

If the printer connects instantly on another network, you’ve confirmed it’s a router issue.

How to Fix the Main Network

Start simple:

~Restart your router

~This clears bad routing tables and DHCP issues.

If that fails:

You’ll need to go into your router’s settings and adjust things like DHCP leases, NAT rules, or 2.4 GHz configuration.

This is a bit technical, and every router is different, so I won’t pretend to be an expert here — but Google and ChatGPT can guide you step by step for your exact router model.

Final Thoughts

If you’re stuck with the IoT error, don’t waste days on it like I did.

Switch to a mobile hotspot — get back online instantly.
