Hello creality community.

A week ago I updated my printer to version 1.0.13 and since then the touch screen has stopped working properly. This failure is random, and occurs at printer startup. Sometimes it boots fine and the touch works, and other times it boots badly and doesn't work. The file I downloaded from the download center is called:

CR-10 SmartMarlin2.0.6SWV1.0.13HWCRC2405.zip.

To update the firmware I followed these steps:

Main board upgrade:

1) Format the SD as FAT32, 4096 bytes, Kingston brand SD size 8GB.

2) Rename the .bin file to update0.bin (recommended by creality)

3) Insert the SD into the motherboard slot and hold down the home button until the creality prompt boots.

Touch screen update:

1) Format the Micro-SD as FAT32, 4096 bytes, size 8gb, Kingston brand.

2) Paste the DWIN_SET folder in the SD.

3) Remove the SD from the motherboard. Remove the touch screen case. Place the Micro-SD on the touch screen. Connect molex cable.

4) Turn on the printer (without keeping the start button pressed). The blue screen is displayed with the update proces. Wait for the process to finish (approximately 1 minute).

5) Power off printer, Remove Micro-SD, assemble touch screen cabinet. reconnect. and turn on the printer.
