Easy guide how to make multicolor prints with Creality Print Slicer and Creality K1 / Max printer.

Open .STL model in Creality Print. I will use Slime VR case covers for this example.

Slice the model with settings you want the part to be printed.

1. Click on G-code

2. Export G-Code file to Local

3. Find a layer you want to change the filament color (+you can check 'only show' one layer at the bottom)

4. Open exported G-Code in text editor and search for the same layer name. Example: LAYER:7

And Write PAUSE under the Layer number

Save G-Code file with the text editor and open saved file in Creality print

5. You will see PAUSE under the LAYER number now

6. Click LAN Printing and send G-Code to your Creality K1 printer

7. Start printing with the first color. After printer reaches modified layer it will pause and wait for you to swap the filament.

8. Retract old filament, load new filament color, Extrude and hit Resume printing.

9. The printer will continue printing with the new color.
