@Cads: Fascinating - both being able to transform plastic (polymers) into something, and being something complex and simple at the same time, and versatility within the world of 3d printing is wide, we always want more... impression (haha) that is only limited to our imagination and knowledge.

@NachoRacer: Doable - Since I was a child I saw many times that people can bring the things that they creare, want, desire, or even imagine from a TV, a computer, or some kind of device like an Oven. Of course, that was Sci-fi, up to now, with 3D printing you can do almost everything that you can imagine or Drean become true.

@Nosse: Christmas - Because every day you wake up like a kid on Christmas day to go down and see what you got.

@TemD: Indispensable - I can make parts for items that break, design solutions to unique problems and create modified versions of commercially available things. The design and making process also helps me relax and aids in keeping me mentally sharp. I wish I had gotten into this 10 years earlier!

@Burrasch: Potential - 3D printing has the ability to streamline manufacturing in a multitude of fields. It's creates jobs for artists, engineers, inventors, and hobbyists who perfect their craft. The applications that 3D printing can be applied to are only growing with time.

@PrintedByNis: Spaghetti - Because of what my failed prints turn out like.

@Tuquen: Frustration - When you see the awesome things other people can do and you have problems getting a decent first layer.

@YEG Squirtle: Tinkering - There is always a setting or adjustment or calibration that can be made to improve a print. Even when you think you have the perfect print there is always something that can be changed to improve. That is why I believe it makes such a captivating hobby. If you enjoy tinkering you'll likely find a home here in this hobby.
