Is a silent motherboard worth it? Watch this video that's included in this post. I bought a silent motherboard for my ender 5 plus off of amazon and just received it today. It took me awhile to install, but it is so worth the 90 some dollars. My printer is literally whisper quiet not counting the noisy fans. If you have ever been wondering what your next upgrade for any of your printers should be, I recommend getting a silent board. An ender 3 board is around 30-50 dollars depending on the seller. Boards for other printers may be closer to 90-100 dollars just like the one I bought. The board that I received already had the firmware preloaded on the board, which made it a plug and play upgrade.
