Hi 3D Community! So I just got my first 3D Printer last month... needless to say, within days I was hooked! I bought the Ender 3 Pro. and almost immediately purchased the glass bed (life changer!). Then I ordered a few upgrades and began 3 days ago... - 4.2.7 Silent Motherboard - Dual Z axis - Micro Swiss NG™ Direct Drive Extruder - Crealtiy Wifi box 2.0 with camera These upgrades were pretty easy, but I noticed the direct drive likes to ooze... I haven't tried lowering the extruder temperature yet, but does anybody have other fixes for this? Next, I installed the CR Touch... of course the firmware is problematic on this one. I was expecting problems on this, since I read everywhere that the homing and Z axis is a bit wonky. Does anybody know the actual fix that works? I would prefer not to try reinstalling every bit of firmware one at a time if possible. I have also purchased the 3d Pad touchscreen. Unfortunately, I was unaware I could not use this and the wifi box at the same time. Downfall! I have been switching back and forth, depending on what I am working on. I am really glad I got this at 50% off. On a plus side, this came with the filament runout sensor, although I have not tried using it yet due to needing to set up a mounting for it. Finally... today I received my 3D Chameleon kit. I guess I may not be able to use the filament runout sensor, but we will see. Tomorrow, I am hoping to unbox and install this. For those who do not know, this kit is supposed to allow me to switch between 4 different color filaments automatically using the GCODE. This is by far the upgrade I was most excited about.
