Hi, Not sure if I'm posting this in the correct place or not but here goes... I've just set up our Creality K1 Max printer at work and printed the Benchy that is loaded on to the machines memory by default. It printed extremely quickly in around 16 minutes which was great. The problem is I cannot seem to recreate these speeds in any slicing software. The K1 Max boasts speeds of up to 800mm/s but even if I manually ramp up all of the speeds in the settings when creating the gcode, I can't get the same model to print in anywhere near the same time, it is at least double usually at around 40 minutes. Is there anything that I am obviously doing wrong? The things I have checked so far are all of the printing speeds (tried varying from as low as 100mm/s up to 800mm/s), travel speeds, extrusion volume speed etc. Material set to both the hyper by default, and generic PLA. I just cant understand why I cannot replicate the preloaded benchy gcode and get the same printing time & quality. Thanks, Matt Edit: One of the things that seems to make a substantial difference is dropping the "minimum layer time" right down. It was set to 8 seconds by default. If I drop this down to less than 1 second, and upped the layer height from 0.2mm to 0.3mm, it brings the print time down to 20 minutes...so I'm getting there. Does anyone know what the settings are for the Benchy that's on there, or I wonder if I can export that gcode and open it up in the slicer to see?
