Recently i’ve been playing around with the idea of using ai to rapid prototype 3D models for 3D Printing and have found a good simple pipeline that I use now and I thought id share it

I simply start by using #image-1 text to image or #flux-kontext-pro with a image input to ask for a “3d Styled render with soft light and clean surfaces” and add any complementing details to get a pvc like image of whatever im trying to create.

Then I ask #image-1 to edit the image to extract any part that I want to turn into a 3 object like the helmet in this example I ask for a “edit the image and make a 3d render of just the helmet without the subject/person and keep proportions and details 1:1” and here we can cherry pick and generate a few times over until we are happy with the resulting view alternatively we can also tell it to make a 16:9 image with a side and front view in the same image to make it more coherent

Then I take my result into #hunyuan3d-2.5 and use multi view to mesh it.

From here its just loading it into any software like #blender #blender3d clean up any double vertices and remeshing it so we can edit any parts we don’t like or add our own details
