About us:

Kalipso Robotics is a student-led community robotics team based in Palo Alto, California, competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge as Team 23346. Founded in the 2023 season, our team brings together middle and high school students from schools across the area who share a passion for engineering, coding, and creative problem-solving.

We design, build, and program competition robots from the ground up, giving every member the opportunity to get hands-on experience with hardware, software, CAD, and strategy. Beyond competition, we are committed to outreach in our local community by mentoring younger students, running demos, and sharing our love for STEM through workshops and events.

As a family- and community-based team, we rely on collaboration, communication, and respect to create a supportive environment where students can take on leadership roles and grow their skills. Our mentors and coaches guide us, but students lead the day-to-day work—from design reviews and code sprints to fundraising and media—preparing us for future careers in engineering, technology, and beyond.
